A Decorative Peplum Matter

Todays Item of choice is the almighty Peplum top. Creating a brilliant figure and being spot on trend for this season. However as I've got a heap load of homework I've decided to keep it down to the tip top Three.

Bright And Cheery:

Although outside my window at the moment the weathers not bright and cheery I thought, why not start with the spring blaster? Great for a casual day out or possibly paired with a pencil skirt for a more formal day? Also this beautiful top is a bargain too being only £12... I'd advise you to grab one soon, before they're all gone! Link for the glorious top

Girly Spotted:

This little number is lovely. Being very simple yet eye catching, it has got to be my favourite of the three. On sale currently for only £18, I'd say buy buy buy it now! Here's a link to the gem!

Owl Peplum Perhaps?:

I've never myself been a huge fan of the cute owls on clothes trend, however when I saw this one I thought a little different. Being very basic in good old monochrome, this top is a bargain for just under £10. Heres the place to clickety click

4 Indie Rock Bands you should be listening to

I know I haven't posted for two weeks so I thought I should start March well and get back into posting frequently. So for today it's about 4 bands if not already, you should be listening to.

Peace
I went and saw them live last weekend at the NME Awards tour in London. They're a indie rock band and they also have a new album called 'In Love' Coming out on the 25th of this month... Definitely worth pre-ordering if you ask me...

Best Song: Bloodshake (On EP Delicious)

A band that's in my must see list, having a southern Californian vibe to them making cracking tunes that are a must listen. Having 2 albums with 'Here' being released last May...

Best Song: Man On Fire (On 'Here' Album)

Only Recently discovering them, they're a really chilled band that you can listen to in any mood. Only having EP's are a real shame but hopefully an album will be out soon (Fingers crossed)

Best Song:  For All We Know (On For All We Know EP)

Their new album 'Cannibals With Cutlery' was released on the 24th of Feb this year. It's totally worth buying and I'd recommend it to anyone..
My Crooked Saint - EP Free to download here...

Best song: Cold Skin (On Cannibals With Cutlery)

Top 3 girl crushes

I thought it was about time to show off the top 3 people that I aspire to, as who we look up to plays a huge role on the self that we are. So without another second wasted here are my top 3 girl crushes (in no particular order)

Alexa Chung:

Who doesn't have a girl crush on Alexa Chung? Seriously... Always looking stunning and never having a bad wardrobe day, I think that this girl crush is most definitely justified! Also having dated the legendary Alex Turner the envy of her just increases and increases!

Gillian Zinser:

This came about via 90210 where I loved her playing the role of Ivy, then after a little Tumblr searching of her I discovered that she had her own Tumblr, that I absolutely now adore! Always having really good tunes and funky pictures, it is the type of classy Tumblr I ought to aspire too. Click here for Gillians Tumblr

Fearne Cotton:

Fearne, Fearne, Fearne, what can I say? Well she's utterly cool and makes Radio1 even more worth listening to. Also dead stylish, even now she's expecting a baby! Having a great sense in music, I just can't get enough!

Although only a short inside post to my top 3 girl crushes I hope you enjoyed!

Obtaining jewellery of a classy standard

I don't think I am alone when it comes to absolutely loving jewellery! So I decided that after sorting out my bedroom that I'd do a post on my favourite 3 'obtained' jewellery pieces!

Making it to it's much much much deserved first place spot is a piece that I've had so centuries!
The beautiful pearl necklace. This I obtained as a young child off of my Nana when we used to play jewellery shops. So here is the elegant gem:

Numero dos! This is my tribal favourite, obtained as a birthday gift donkeys years ago, from my long time best friend in a hamper filled with other treasures. Thank you muchly for this one:

Thirdly, my Rhino amulet. This hasn't got a cool story but I'll try to make it sound interesting... As I was running extremely early for a rendezvous with my dentist, I decided to take a prolonged search through a charity store. Upon my search I came across many a dazzling piece, however I only had £2 on me as the train ticket was overly priced. Almost disappointed with myself for not finding anything I walked head down towards the door (the shame of not buying anything I ogled ) Almost foot out of the store I stopped and saw this wooden Amulet and scooped it up. To my relief was only £1.50! BARGAIN... So this is how my Rhino Amulet found its way home to it's rightful owner (me) and here's the evidence:

Hopefully you liked my pieces as much as i do!

P.s: What is your favourite obtained piece? (Jewellery or not..)
